January Nominee – Foundation for the Homeless
Why You’d Want to Vote for Them:
Foundation for the Homeless keeps families intact while in the shelter system, which is a unique model. They provide emergency, transitional housing for these families, along with supportive services and meals. Their facilities are in need of updating, and if we choose to support Foundation for the Homeless, they’ll use our help to buy furniture for the families, build and do repair work on the shelter property, and help find furniture for families who are transitioning out of the shelter. Our donations will be used to fill immediate needs around the organization like beds, bedding and toiletries for their clients.
